Sunday lunch

A few weeks ago I cooked Sunday dinner for my boyfriend and myself and decided to make a simple victoria sponge for dessert, I used homemade plum jam from my mum to sandwich it together. I did slightly burn the cake but I have dusted with icing sugar to hide it. The cake itself however was delicious!

Here are some cupcakes that I baked for my boyfriend to take for Saturday afternoon cricket teas. I have been told that they were all snapped up instantly!

There are Vanilla cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing and chocolate cupcakes with a vanilla buttercream icing and decorated with dolly mixtures.

I love baking and cooking, I may not be a pro at it, but here I want to share some of my favourite recipes and ideas (and maybe even the odd disaster!)

I think I am definatly addicted to cakes, in particular cupcakes, my family held a suprise party for my 30th birthday and my centrepiece cake was a giant cupcake surrounded by lots of smaller cupcakes! Unfortunately someone pinched on of the smaller cakes before I had chance to take a good photo.
